Visegrad Small Grants Program: Providing Seed Funding & Networking Opportunities



Applicants are invited to apply for Visegrad Small Grants program that serves as a facilitator of shorter-term (up to 6 months), smaller-scale (max. budget is €6,000) projects and is also suitable to provide seedfunding and networking opportunities for future bigger scale projects.



Project Categories



Education (seminars, education workshops, summer schools)
Youth exchanges (summer camps, school exchanges)
Cultural cooperation (film and theater festivals, exhibitions, publications)
Scientific exchange and research (academic workshops, conferences)
Cross-border cooperation (site specific, locally or region­ally relevant projects)
Promotion of tourism (tourist portals or brochures, promotion of con­crete sites)



Funding Information



Maximum contribution of the Fund for each Small Grant project is EUR 6,000.



Eligibility Criteria



Any legal entity or natural person world­wide is eligible for funding, provided that the given project proposal deals with topics relevant to the V4 region and promotes cooperation among project part­ners in the region.
Preferences are given to applicants from non-governmental, civil society organizations (NGOs/CSOs), municipalities and local governments, public schools and universities, research and scientific bodies and public institutions in general.
State administration institutions cannot apply, nor can they be valid project partners, incl. min­istries, embassies, official cultural institutes such as Balassi Institutes, Czech Centres, Polish Institutes (Instytut polski), or Slovak Institutes.
