Reminder! Your First VOF Assignment is Due

Greetings!

This is a gentle reminder that the assignment for Week One is due on March 15, 2009 by 11:59pm HST (Honolulu Standard Time).

TIPS

1. Follow the instructions!
   You will be evaluated on your ability to follow instructions.




2. Check your title!
   Did you follow the correct format for titling your journal entry?
   Your title must be labeled as: "VOF Week 1: (your title)". You will place your own title in the parentheses.

This is a critical instruction. If your assignment is not easily identified, we cannot guarantee that it will be evaluated by a Listener.

1. Check your word count!
   www.wordcounttool.com is a simple and quick online tool to find your word count. Simply copy and paste your article in the form and click on the Submit button. Your word count will appear under the form.

If you are using Microsoft Word, select the text of your article. Click on Tools in the top menu. Select Word Count from the drop down menu.

   We encourage you to treat your assignment as a work in progress until 11:59pm HST on March 15th. Support each other by writing comments and suggestions on another Applicant's assignment and asking for feedback on yours. Don't be shy. We are in this together.
