Why the name "World Pulse" and "PulseWire" and "Voices of Our Future" ?

Hi everyone!
Gifty asked a great question that I wanted to respond to since it might be of interest to all - why did we choose the name World Pulse, PulseWire and Voices of Our Future?

Why World Pulse? I think of World Pulse as the electric pulse of women's rising voices across the globe. It is the heartbeat of the planet. Alive - a new frequency that will transform the world. But it is a little known secret that World Pulse wasn't her first name - it wasn't her birth name. In fact, i was riding my bicycle one day up a very big hill when i was 28 years old .i was dreaming of a magazine i wanted to start that would connect women all over the world. I had a vision that it was to be called "World Birth" - because women were "birthing" a new world. I was so certain that was the name the universe wanted. However, in little under a year it became painfully clear that the name wasn't the right one. Everyone thought that we were only about pregnancy around the world - and we got endless submissions about breastfeeding! . Sol, I set about revisioning - and going deep inside myself. We surveyed hundreds of people - and World Pulse was the name everyone loved, including me. It has so much energy -- to this day i love it. This is the energy of women's voices, humming, buzzing, pulsing - creating life.

Then - along came PulseWire! We wanted to create a way that women everywhere in the world could have a voice and report stories from the ground - like a global women's newswire. We wanted to create a new kind of news through the voices of women. Although we wished it could have a more commmunity-feeling name...we settled on the name PulseWire because we could see the wires and the web of pulsing energy connecting women across the globe intor a powerful force. We wanted it to have a special name, that was unique from World Pulse, because we always knew that PulseWire would be a special place that would be owned and led by her community of women.

Interestingly enough when i name things sometimes out of curiosity i check numerology on the name. When i did the numerology on World Pulse and PulseWire -- each one comes up an 11 - and together become a 22. The 22 is one of the most special numbers, it is considered a master number, and it symbolizes great destiny - a global humanitarian leader that connects people in service and support using communications.

When we dreamed of Voices of Our Future -- we knew that rising up would be new voices that would shape the collective future of our world. Absolutely you are voices of the present, but that as soon as the world could hear --- each voice will grow in influence and achieve great power to shift the future for us all.

Cheers to names and your great creativity!
Love,
Jensine
