A Token of Solidarity

Hello there lovely sisters,

How is everyone doing out there? Well, I hope!

I wanted to share my latest, wonderful sister gift from Filipino, World Pulse member, Mae Ann! She sent me this lovely button all the way from the Philippines at the beginning of March, just at the beginning of COVID. We both thought it was lost, but low and behold, it showed up this week, perfectly in tact, and sanitized, too:-) What a surprise it was to see this lovely reminder of sisterhood show up at my doorstep. It did make me smile.

The lovely Mae Ann is always true to her word, giving, practical, driven, and organized. When she says she will do something, she’s on it!

Right now this lovely sister is in southern Ireland, with her husband, enjoying the warmth there… ha. I’m kidding. She’s quite cold. I don’t think she’s loving it, either. Perhaps she’ll come visit me in southern Spain before I know it. That would be nice… my first World Pulse visitor!!

I had the honor of meeting Mae Ann when she wrote her first post on April 27, 2017. If you would like to know more about the amazing Mae Ann, all of her charitable work, as well as her “Women on T.E.C.H (Teach. Empowers. Changemaker. Hope.)” webinar initiative, this is her profile link: https://www.worldpulse.com/community/users/maeann. And, this is the World Pulse Philippines page that she moderates: https://www.facebook.com/groups/739100826558198/. Please also congratulate her for achieving Featured Changemaker status, too!

Thanks for reading. I hope you all have a great, rest of your weekend:-)

Jill
