My World Pulse Button!
My World Pulse Button! (1/1)

Hello there lovely sisters,

How is everyone doing out there? Well, I hope!

I wanted to share my latest, wonderful sister gift from Filipino, World Pulse member, Mae Ann! She sent me this lovely button all the way from the Philippines at the beginning of March, just at the beginning of COVID. We both thought it was lost, but low and behold, it showed up this week, perfectly in tact, and sanitized, too:-) What a surprise it was to see this lovely reminder of sisterhood show up at my doorstep. It did make me smile.

The lovely Mae Ann is always true to her word, giving, practical, driven, and organized. When she says she will do something, she’s on it!

Right now this lovely sister is in southern Ireland, with her husband, enjoying the warmth there… ha. I’m kidding. She’s quite cold. I don’t think she’s loving it, either. Perhaps she’ll come visit me in southern Spain before I know it. That would be nice… my first World Pulse visitor!!

I had the honor of meeting Mae Ann when she wrote her first post on April 27, 2017. If you would like to know more about the amazing Mae Ann, all of her charitable work, as well as her “Women on T.E.C.H (Teach. Empowers. Changemaker. Hope.)” webinar initiative, this is her profile link: https://www.worldpulse.com/community/users/maeann. And, this is the World Pulse Philippines page that she moderates: https://www.facebook.com/groups/739100826558198/. Please also congratulate her for achieving Featured Changemaker status, too!

Thanks for reading. I hope you all have a great, rest of your weekend:-)

Jill

Lovely Jill :)

I was just laughing at how your Covid gifts from World Pulse sisters across the oceans seem to get lost at sea, but manage to get to shore somehow. (Because the artistic postcard from Cecille seemed to get lost at first as well).

I'm glad it finally reached you. It's always special to receive something in the mail :-)

Hola, my lovely sister Nini, I can send you a World Pulse button. :)

Aw, that's so sweet of you! Spreading the love and pulse:-)

I have around 20 of it, more or less. I have to save up for the delivery costs. Haha. Maybe soon.

How much does it cost to deliver. I didn't notice and I wouldn't know how much the currency was anyway, without looking it up.

That may depend on each country I guess. I should ask Mae Ann. But I need to save up first. :))

That is very lovely of you Karen, thank you! If it was a pair of WP earrings I'd say yes ha ha. Yes postage is quite expensive even for small items. And now, that is the only way for things to move around the world for a while.

My 5 year old made a card for his friend from school and dropped it the friends letter box. And the five year old friend was so excited because he'd never received anything in the mail. So yes, it's nice to receive something in the mail, even for kids!

Hello Nini!

How are you? Yes! It is a little amusing:-)

Thank you for your comment, and for reading, dear!

Yes, it is, especially from a dear World Pulse sister!

Hope you have a great week!

Hello, Jill,

We should see you wear that button pin during Zoom meetings! We have them printed during the IWD events, unfortunately COVID happened.

I still have a lot of those in hand. It was so sweet of Mae Ann to send one to you. I should send mine to others sisters as well. Probably when I have ample cash to spare for delivery. I should start saving for it.

Hmm, World Pulse Philippines is not Mae Ann’s Page. It was a collaborative effort by World Pulse Philippines Ambassadors to set up an FB group and a page, dear. We were involved in the planning and setting up process. It's safe to say Mae Ann is the one leading it now. :)

Hello Kaye,

How are you doing? Yes! I meant to wear it on Friday and was running around:-( Now, it's on my inspiration board as a permanent fixture:-)

Yes, it was! Yeah, I wondered how much it cost to send it.

FYI, I have changed the language to say "the" rather than "her." I didn't mean to offend, or diminish credit where credit was due.

I'm catching up with some tasks. A busy Monday indeed! Thanks for asking.

We should plan to wear that in one meeting together with Ate Pauline and Mae Ann! Nice idea on putting in on our inspiration board. I want to have an inspiration board.

Oh, not offended at all. That's a big word. I meant to clarify in honor of the contribution, big and small, by World Pulse Ambassadors and Angel, the moderator. :)

You're welcome:-)

Oh, you should make one. It's always nice to look over and have an "ah" feeling:-)

Glad to hear it. I really thought you were annoyed with me. Of course. All should be credited with their hard work and contributions.

Yeah, what do you put on an inspiration board? Is that like a vision board?

Oh, my goodness. Why annoyed? You're funny, JLo. Yes! Like we give credit to you for laying the foundation on World Pulse! I said that to the early birds in the Encourager Party.

Yes, they're basically the same thing but with a different focus/intention. Both are pretty inspirational, and powerful. I can send you a photo, if you like? I've got my little WP corner, and then have photos of shoes, Madonna buttons, inspirational quotes, snowflakes, a Greenpeace sticker, a colorful Native American-type postcard, one of my favorite artist's postcard, a finger paint sheet that I did awhile back with my favorite colors, as well as Yllang's postcard:-)

I'm not sure, but that was my perception. I'm glad that it was just my perception, however, and not reality:-) Yeah, I hear you. Aw, that's nice. Thank you!

Hello there:-)

There's the woman of the hour!

I think I remember hearing about that movie. I don't recall seeing it, though.

Yes, I remember the video, too:-)

You're welcome. Thank you again for sending it!

I would love to get another holiday card. I still have last years. It's on my hubby's bulletin board as he loves cats.... it's too cute!
