Nini is many times my alter ego when it comes to writing my posts.
She pops in, interjects, accepts, qualifies, confirms, challenges, laughs at, borrows ,enhances and always encourages what I have to say.
Just like and even better than a sister at home .
We inspire one another to write. We even add on, complete and continue each others work.
I visit her website, where we push boundaries, explore, and never hold back.
Then we take it to World Pulse and deliver our gems with each other's pride and/or mischief attached.
We challenge one another. And we pull out the best from each other.
We weave our words, laugh, make fun of each other. And we make a serious life and death issue into a concise matter of fact.
Nini is a true inspiration. She is that spark that gets me going and makes me start and complete an expression.
She makes me address issues that I had no idea I was even interested in, much less passionate about.
Nini has made my teeth grind, my heart rush, my stomach churn and my coffee cup refill to get a post done in response to her post.
Nini is a spark. Which is a spirit in disguise and incognito.
She makes me go places with words I would have never gone.
And she makes it okay that I went there, even if I question myself if I should have.
Nini always shows up when you most need her to, and when you least expect.
She has a life no doubt, but she dedicates herself to her sisterhood.
If this sounds like love, then yes, it is. A true sisterly love. A bond and respect in sisterhood.
And for that I am very grateful.
I nominate Nini Mappo for the World Pulse Spirit Award, because it's the closest I can get to putting a crown on her pretty head.
