Voting has begun effective Tuesday morning January 18, 2021 in the 2020 Africans Rising Activism Award after official announcement by the Africans Rising for Justice, Peace & Dignity

Since the pronouncement, each of the 10 finalists across Africa vying for both the movement and activist of the year awards categories have been engaged in a stiff battle soliciting for public votes to be declared the overall winner.

The 2020 Africans Rising Activism Award seeks to recognize both a movement and an individual activist for their hard work for change.

Standing tall among the contestants from Ghana, the West African country is the Human Rights Reporters Ghana (HRRG) who kick started the contest leading with a wide gap due to high votes and support from most Ghanaians.

Well, one good turn always deserves another, they say therefore let’s keep the vote coming in for the Human Rights Reporters Ghana to bring the award home.

Now make the HRRG shine as the winner with the highest vote in this contest by voting massively.

Thanks for sharing the Link, Joseph. I tried voting, but told I have to join African-Rising in order to vote. Do you know why that is the case? Because there are many people who would like to vote but prefer not to join.
All the best!
P.S., among the nominees is a Kenyan initiative called Simama na dada working to fight menstrual poverty, and but for World Pulse for loyalty, you would have lost your vote ha ha :)

Aww, so sad for HRRG

Hello, Joseph,

I clicked the link and saw what Nini observed. There are requirements to be part of the African Rising, and we cannot participate unless we are members of it. I will share this with the team, and hope there are World Pulse sisters who are currently members of the said movement. Congratulations once again!
