Connection. When we open up to others we can sometimes find the encouragement to pursue our own dreams. For a long time I have been dreaming of having my own business. It is easy to doubt - is it already being done by many others, is it needed, will people really want it?
I was getting an ultrasound of my thyroid and abdomen last week. During the abdomen portion, the Ultrasound Tech asked me to hold my breath in order to capture photos. Then she told me to return to normal breathing. This reminded me of pranayama which is one of the eight limbs of yoga, and is the practice of controlling the breath. We began talking about yoga, meditation and wellness. She shared is interested in getting more into these. I got excited and share that I am launching a business to share these things. We exchanged information. I left my appointment that day feeling inspired to know there are people out there searching for resources I have been wanting to offer. There is a need and an interest, and I need to keep going.
