Oluwadamilola Akintewe is a 20 years old Nigerian law student, social entreprenuer, feminist and gender equality advocate who works to improve the standards of living of girls and women across Nigeria. She focuses her advocacy which has spanned over 4 years to call for equal representation of women and girls in education, entrepreneurship and leadership to ensure gender equality, economic empowerment and educational advancement.



Her project, Rebirth, provides Adolescent girls and young women (AGYW) access to free vocational skill trainings predominantly on fashion designing in Ondo, Nigeria to bridge the Inequality gap and ensure financial inclusion.



She is also leveraging on story telling to break the silence and stigmatization faced by women on issues such as Gender Based Violence and sexual assaults via her blog, Forbidden Topics.



She's recipient of several awards including Ashoka Young Changemaker, one of the 20 Global Solvers selected by Melton Foundation and recognized as one of the "top 100 women creating change in Africa" by We For Good International and an alternate fellow of Hansen Leadership Institute 2020 in San Diego. She's been featured on Business Day and currently a top 10 participant of Miss Career Africa 2020.
