Make Menstruation a Source of Power for Women With Me!

We are now working to raise $5000 U.S. in order to purchase materials for manufacturing 10,000 reusable pads, which are eco-friendly, chemical free, and last for up to three years - making them extremely economical. Your donation to this cause will make a tremendous impact on the lives of girls in Rwanda for years to come!

Hello, Kadablah,

What a great initiative! I hope you can find generous donors to sponsor the pads.

Thank you Karen

You're welcome,dear. I wonder if this opportunity could help you. You can apply on the "health" category. I haven't checked the details, but the project aims to target 10,000 products, and Rwanda is included. I hope it's a match. https://www.worldpulse.com/community/users/anaisabelbbp/resources/91375
Please let me know how it goes!

Friendly reminders:
1. Study similar calls (open and closed ones) that interest you to discover what they have in common and how you can think ahead/plan to apply = increase your chances of success!
2. Prepare/update paperwork (certificates and atests usually required from an organization like yours);
3. Write (baby steps...!) and discuss a project draft - to validate the priorities within your group and to train your grant writing skills;
4. Do not wait to find a call and then start writing your oroposal/project. Start now!!!
5. Visit the World Pulse website >>> My Pulse >>> Resources and then use its filters (right upper corner) to find what may really suit you;
6; Share the opportunities that may not apply to you but can interest others;
7. Spread the word about your failures and achievements in grant requests; yes, tell these storiies too... - they will enlighten and inspire your network.
