Save Faith

On the 27th of June 2019, I was returning back home from a Facebook business training when I met a young pregnant lady under the bridge of Ikeja, Lagos Nigeria. I walked past her but instinct told me to go back to speak to her. I went back to ask her few questions why she was in that condition and at that place. Faith explained she was sent out of the house by her father whose new wife refused her in the house with her. I looked round and found an elderly woman who I appeal to accommodate Faith till I get further assistance for her.

On the 29th of June, I registered her in a Redeem Christian Church of God Mission Hospital, and several tests was carried out. We have a challenge of she having an O negative blood group which the Midwives explained she will need Rogham injection to help prevent any unpleasant occurrences since the person responsible for the pregnancy is no where to be found.

Just yesternight, the woman who volunteered to accommodate her called me and said, I should come and pick.....stating that she can no longer accommodate her. As we all know, we can't push her out at this stage where she needs more help, that is why I am calling out to people with heart of gold to come to her rescue.

As a child rights advocate I believe creating safe space for everyone is everybody's business. No one should be left behind..Thank you.
