A Webinar on Empathy

World Pulse Philippines is hosting a series of webinars for the whole month of March. This is in celebration of Women's month! This is also our contribution to the #SheTransformTech campaign.

Our World Pulse sister Mae Ann sponsored these sessions via Zoom so we can post this on Facebook Live.

On March 14, I will be talking about Empathy. This will be my first time to conduct a webinar. I am not confident enough to do this but I am inspired by our World Pulse sisters' bravery. I also remind myself about what Brene Brown shared about vulnerability. It is showing up not knowing what the outcome would be. So this webinar is my way of being courageous.

I am speaking up because I am passionate about holding safe spaces for people to share their stories, and I've witnessed time and again (within and outside World Pulse) the transformative power of empathy.

We live in a broken world. We all share wounds from broken hearts, shattered dreams, lost loved ones, and more painful experiences. How do we heal from all of these?

The rate of suicidal incidents is alarming. How do we get depressed people to open up?

Receiving empathy heals us in many ways.

Conducting webinars is one way of using technology to inspire change. I invite our World Pulse sisters and encouragers to join. We all need to practice empathy when we send encouragement to our sisters.

Join us as we learn and motivate each other. Register in advance for this webinar: https://zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_yLFX0FXBSYShYs8hFr28FQ

Date and time: March 14, 2020, 9PM (Manila Time, GMT+8) After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar.
