Today has been the national prayer which was lead by our president Y.K.Museveni praying for the country on the issue of Corona virus as citizen were in closed doors viewing what was happening on state house. Romours are spreading around the capital city Kampala that there twelve chineses who entered our country without being checked up . When people had that romours they were so scared to the extent that no one moves or use any public means of transport .the situation is worsening every minute passes that getting something to eat is very difficult and hard. And the govt it has no solution to help in that situation. It seem we are entering the law of the jungle:where survivor is the for the fittest.world pulse community let us continue raise our voices on the current condition of the world , I believe by raising our voices someone will hear.

Hi Charity,

Thanks for sharing your update. I think the panic is one of the hardest aspects for me to deal with this whole challenge. I hope that you and your family are safe and well.

Hello Charity,
I am glad there was the national prayer because I believe prayer calms people down. I wrote a story on the virus, please read it and share. We want people to be healthy and safe and the sooner we do the prevention the faster we can get rid of this disease. Thank you for letting us know what is going on in your country and please keep us posted.
With Love and Gratitude,
Shirin

Dear Charity,
I so hope that this rumour dies down and that the focus remains keeping everyone safe and coming together to solve these critical problems as they arise. Please stay in touch as you are able.

Dear Charity,
This is what World Pulse is. A venue to raise our voices and support each other. We'll have to knock harder on government's door so they can hear us. Pray, they can hear you now.

Huggs.

Charity, that is the story in most African countries we are not prepared for this clampdown because we live and thrive on daily earnings and poverty is spread everywhere. We will continue to trust God to take away this virus before people will start dying of hunger. Take care of yourself and family

Hello Charity,
I too live in Uganda and I too was caught in the rumour mill and happy they are just what it is ... rumours!
As the world was put on a standstill with the infection going around the globe, I am happy that somehow here in Uganda, we are able to curb it blowing in the country’s face. I guess, the country has learned a lot from its Ebola experience. This is a test of times not only for Uganda but for all the countries in the similar situation as here.
We stand together, we raise our voice together and we keep our hand clean, cover our mouth and keep indoor because that way we contribute to keeping each other safe.
Cheers
