Girls in my community

Ladi was born from a poor background, she live her village life happily, she was such a hard working and beautiful young woman, we grew up together.

A Boss lady, she was like a godes, anytime she visit the village is like Heaven is on earth, everyone in the village goes to lobby in her house, so their daughters will gain favour.

But the question is , why was it a girl child? Why was she not going for the boys?. She will take the girls and the will not return untill they  are grown up, some never returned till today, and since their parents were getting money from her, they never complain. God helpt me, she didn't pick me.

Ladi left with her and return one month later without the Boss lady, oh that was unusual,. We were curious to know why she came back alone. Lo and behold the terifying story.

Human trafficking, Ladi expose what Boss lady was doing with Girls from the village.

Unfortunately , before Boss lady was found to be prosecuted, she was sick already and eventually died.

Happy International Day of the Girl Child, let us pledge our support to every little girl who wants to spread her wings & reach her gold

Hello, Kate,

How is Ladi doing today? Was she a victim of trafficking then escaped? I hope she is doing ok now.

Thank you for raising up this trafficking issue here. You are right, young girls are usually the victims.

Sad to say, human trafficking is also a problem in our country, too. The parents made it into their business by sending their daughters to cybersex.

Ladi leaves in Cyprus now, and she is doing fine. She a victim of human trafficking then escape.

I’m glad she was able to escape. Thanks for raising awareness! Hope you have a great weekend.

I am so thankful for Ladi, and others like Ladi, who are brave and fortunate enough to raise the alarm, help others and try to bring the traffickers to justice.

Hi Kate,

How are you doing, dear? Thanks for sharing your harrowing story about poor Ladi. Are you friends with her, dear? It would be great if she joined World Pulse, and shared her story. Does she have an NGO now?
