Dear Sister

Working on the frontline in the Informal Settlement during Covid -19 was so much challenging sometimes since March 2020 I could only tell God in My room how I feel, Mothers and fathers coming for food help was not the best face to see not even the type of day I wish for your enemy.

Our Region is a Tourism destination and in a day it was gone until now(we are mostly in Cultural Tourism, Singing dances Culture exchange selling of handmade Traditional and modern Arts and Crafts np Tourist no Food for families.

and in the meantime, we have to provide Information sanitizers, soap, running water, disinfectants and Facemasks, WE survive from day to day Lockdown was in force by the government, At least our Communities was provide with communal  water Taps and free water until now,

at least the Curvey for now is we can gather up to 50 people but we still try for 30 knowing that mothers have children. we in the beginning source food from Big Companies and private people, we are where those people will not help us for too long,

That why we start with this backyard gardening which we are sure it is beneficial for all who partake, for the family, and in the future we can sell to upper-class people who still have Jobs or to the Supermarkets,

We need help advice and Support, Your Stories give me hope but without a reliable internet connection it's challenging  also,

I wish I acan make a workshop tp show my sister and tell them more about Worldpulse,

Hi Katrina,
As women we still get little reporting done on the realities we are facing and what you hav written is important for us all to know. Women are dealing with the effects of covid by creating ways to survive. Big congratulations on starting a movement for backyard gardens.
I hope your connection is strong enough to show World Pulse to women in your community, and to make it possible for you to stay in close touch. I'm imagining all the women farmers growing food as you are, being connected here, and all who would love to know how, learning from what you are doing. PS the same happens to me with photos if they are taller than they are wide. Sometimes I crop them....

Thank you for sharing. It is difficult time to everyone under the Pandemic.
It is really a great initiative to source food and start the backyard gardening. It can help many people who needs the food or job. Please keep the momentum on.
Technology helps a lot under the situation. Understand it is really a big challenge without stable internet connection.
May Almighty God bless you all!
