When pain

is constant

World filled with

violence

Future

Uncertain

Fear most

loss of fuel

Self-care

is protest

Let yourself

unwind

Cry and unplug

lay and indulge

love and be loved

When heartache

is recognized

Power of voice

realized

Warrior can

march on

healed

not broken

Dear Dogra,

This is beautiful. Thank you for sharing and yes we all need self care so we can let loose and really energize. It's not easy for us to make changes in the world when we are always stressed and up tight. Thank you for reminding us that we need to take care of ourselves.

Thank you for sharing

Dear KDogra,

So true, so beautifully written. Your transforming pain into poetry is a gift of a reminder to take good care of ourselves.
