What happens when women are empowered

Enough of speeches without actions. Peace will only be sustainable in the world when we get responsible. We present another testimony today.

My name is Kwiyuh Yvette and I am a wife and mother. Before now, my husband was the only one supporting the whole family with our basic needs. The fact that I was not able to contribute anything made financial burden so heavy on my husband. I heard of a training in skills by sustaining peace foundation and got interested. I was trained in the production of powdered Savon and peanut. I decided to invest in  peanut because it needed only small money to start.  Today the results are visible. I can now support my husband to take care of the family, unnecessary tension between us greatly reduced and I am more confident of my self. Thanks so much sustaining peace foundation for transforming my mindset towards peace building in the family.  I call on women to learn a skill to support their husbands
