                                                                  COMMUNION

a poem for all of us by kennedy braden

                                                                 I speak your name

                                                                 to the wind

                                                                 to the Earth

                                                                 to the wonderous heavens

                                                                 to the trees

                                                                 to the stars

                                                                 to the deeps

                                                                 and mysteries.

                                                                 I speak your name

                                                                 within my heart,

                                                                 gratitude RISING,

                                                                 knees to the ground.

                                                                 I speak your name

                                                                 dearest sister,mother

                                                                 brother,father

                                                                 friend,lover.

                                                                 I speak your name

                                                                 and mine

                                                                 woven gently

                                                                 inside Infinity...

                                                                Eternal Codes of Love.

But, do you know my name? ha ha I'm sorry Kennedy, cheeky side is on just now.
It's a lovely poem, a surprising poem. You want it to stop and you want it to continue. You want it to stop because you don't want to lose the meaning in too many words, and you want it to continue because the words 'expand' this idea of communion and you want it to grow. So you wonder what it might grow into.

I'm sorry if I have not made any sense, but then in poetry, everything makes sense!
Thank you for sharing. Some pieces invite you in and for me, yours is one of them.

Thank you dear sisters Kamariza and Nini for your words and mission vision in the world

Hello, Kennedy,

I don't know why I'm having goosebumps as I read each line of your poetry. I love how we can be connected with nature to say our name to the wind, earth, trees, stars and so on.

What inspired you to write this piece?

Please share more of your poetries!

Thank you Karen for your inspirations and being here with all of us. Together dear sisters we walk this Earth hand in hand, heart to heart, soul to soul in love, strength and dignity changing the world to the place we know and carry as possible. Lovewaves
