About Me

I am an award winning community development, education and technology expert. I started my career as the founder of Girls Education Mission International (GEM INT’L) - a nonprofit that supports girls and women in reaching their potential, focused on defending, protecting and promoting their right to education. Since 2011, I have played a full-time role as Executive Director of GEM INT’L.

A graduate of education from the University of Jos, I obtained a national certificate in computer general application from same University with background knowledge in Digital Literacy from Intel Corporation and Worldpulse with experience in Mobile App development from Andela, nHubNG and Technovation Iridescent.

As a skilled human right advocate, I am passionate about providing innovative and proactive solutions to obstacle in Girls education. I am passionately raising support to provide scholarships for vulnerable girls and ensuring that the government makes the education of girls a priority/

Keturah Shammah envisions a world where girls' right to education is been defended, protected and promoted towards reaching their potential.
