GENDER, MEDIA, DIGITAL ADVOCACY WORKSHOP

With Support from World Pulse as a Digital Ambassador in Nigeria, I hosted over 40 women across various walks of Lives for full day workshop on how to harness the power of technology for advocacy, personal and professional development and as well economic empowerment.
The event was beyond expectation as having all the participants hearing about World Pulse for the First time, but having heard about my successful story with World Pulse , more than half of the women signed up immediately and now almost all have singed up with some beginning to share their stories on World Pulse.
The interesting part of the event was having a group of deaf women who having heard about the event came in with a male interpreter whom throughout the workshop have volunteered to be interpreting the workshop in sign language.
It doesn't end there, on request for support and guidance, it was unanimously agreed that a WhatsApp and Facebook Group be created for more coordination of WorldPulse Women in Jos, . And thus the newly social media platform

It was a moment, of learning, inspiring, and impacting lives with such an amazing women who expressed enthusiasm to actively joined and get engaged on World Pulse.
