In 1995, national governments and activists converged in Beijing for the Fourth World Conference on Women, making historic commitments to gender equality and women’s empowerment. On the 20th anniversary of this groundbreaking event, the United Nations and international actors are taking stock of progress in the past 20 years. The voices and experiences of grassroots women leaders are essential to this process of evaluating current realities and identifying future priorities. We want to hear your perspectives ahead of the next session of the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women (Beijing+20), which will take place this March 9th to 20th.
