We're catching all the falling stars!

\"Catch a falling star and put it in your pocket, Never let it fade away....\"

That's the song I think of as my \"spirit music\" - and has perhaps a companionin my Voices of the Future mentor Nancy Harkrider's favourite song, Warrior.

This week, I got to add 220 more consular establishments to the map, and twelve new services to the map in the legal, education and medicalaid provision domain. Meanwhile, the app is in progress, and I think I should have a bunch of updates on that front soon.

On the collaboration front, Safecity and Red Elephant released four infographics inviting people to report abuse on Safecity and use GBV Help Map to find help for VAWG in India, and it has been received well. The cover image is one of them :)

Meanwhile, I'm also looking to host a bunch of training sessions on the usage of the map and sensitization of providers of these services, and have arranged a bunch of meetings across different domains. Hopefully, these workshops take off soon. The idea is to use these training programs as scalable ones that I can take to other cities and states in India first, and then beyond India.

This week, I will be in Mumbai for the Rising Star Awards 2016 on November 9, and hopefully networking and speaking about the GBV Help Map. I also got news that I won the Global Peace Prize 2016, from WeSchool, and the Global Peace Initiative. I'm going to be travelling to Mumbai on November 25, and using the opportunity to speak about the GBV Help Map as a route to ending Gender-based Violence and a means to achieve peace!
