An Impact Story

How do you take many years of sisterhood, mentorship, unconditional love, and gentle guidance and put them all into one post? How do you quantify impact when every day allows you to live this impact, leaving you breathing in the positive change that’s happening around you? How do you find the right words?

Hard, right? That’s exactly what it is.

When I walked into the microcosm of powerful change that World Pulse is, way back in 2011, I was a quiet outsider trying on new things for size. I hadn’t a clue what this community would come to mean to me - not even the slightest inkling that this platform wouldn’t just connect me to sisters with whom my heart beats in tandem, or that I would find my closest friends through this digital home, or, least of all, that I would happily design a mobile app through the fillip that this platform would give me.

And yet, here I am, a living testament to you that World Pulse more than works. It isn’t about the numbers although it also is - it is about every story you see here. World Pulse gave me the strength, skillset and courage to bring Saahas into the world, to gently welcome Saruki into world to sow seeds of peace, and now, to spread truth through feminist peace journalism, through my most recent project, Ahimsa.

Maybe I may or may not have done it on my own, I don’t know - I’m not clever about destiny and such. But what I do know for sure is that the support World Pulse gave me has been like no other: and regardless of the number of parallel universes I might find myself in, I couldn’t possibly find another world where possibilities come alive at every turn like they do here, at World Pulse.
