My nomination: Sisterhood

Arrey Echi. The name that comes to mind when you think of powering through, of building bridges, and of letting nothing get you down. Arrey is my goddess, truly, because she has not only taught me what it is to fight the odds, but also to do so with a broad smile and a crown of glory along with it. 

I believe in Arrey's cause and her capacity to fight forth and champion it only represent an exceptional strength and resilience that are typically embedded in her identity as an activist and changemaker. To Arrey, the sky is the limit, and she lives this spirit in every waking moment that she spends with her work. I have never known of her ever saying that something is impossible, cannot work, or is not up to her strengths: she is the kind of person who will make anything her strength if she puts her mind to it.

I've seen her cope with the many challenges life sent her way, and have also seen her emerge out of it like a phoenix. Arrey is a fierce fighter and braves on - like the lodestar. 

Nominating Arrey may have come late in the day from my side, but she means the world to me, always.
