The World Pulse Spirit: Keturah Shamma

Getting to know Keturah over the past few months in our powerful peer-mentorship relationship through World Pulse has been immensely rewarding.
Keturah is dedicated, hard working, and so committed to achieving her vision. Each week, when we speak, even though I have been designated as the
mentor in our bond, I find myself walking away from our sessions having learned tremendously. She is a powerful leader and many, many look up to her.
I have seen her work with her team and I can say without any doubt that she is loved and appreciated, and for her part, invests love and goodness in her
work and in the people around her. To me, Keturah IS the embodiment of the World Pulse spirit - for she leads but alongside, supports but without taking
away the agency of the person she is supporting, and most of all, gives unconditionally from her heart. Keturah has some BIG plans for the year ahead of
her: and these are going to be life-changing for plenty of women and girls around her. I know deep in my heart that she is only at the tip of the iceberg of
all the amazing things she is going to be doing ahead, and this very visionary spirit of hers is what strengthens my nomination of Keturah.
