Nominating Anjana for the Spirit Awards seems like the most basic thing to do - brilliance like hers MUST be spotlighted, isn't it? 

What strikes me most about Anjana is her generosity, kindness, and unconditionally giving nature. I have seen her work hard while
also handling challenging times personally. I have seen her open the doors to her heart as a powerful agent of solidarity and support,
encouraging the seed of sisterhood to grow through her dedicated and gentle nurturing. I have seen her work against systems that have
been dead set against women and feminism. I have seen her hold her own with a powerful resilience and take on narrow cultural barriers
and engage with them to the point that their dismantling in her hands has helped other women sail through on a path she painstakingly cut.
