Marie Abanga: My Nomination

If you're sitting across the screen from someone a whole continent and ocean away from you, but you simply cannot stop smiling and feeling like a ball of energy fizzing about, then you simply MUST be listening to Marie Abanga speaking. This whole year, as an ambassador, I've had the beautiful gift of listening to several of my sisters in our weekly check-ins, and I absolutely THRIVED with all of them - one of them being Marie. This girl can light up a room, even if that room is miles (AND MILES!) and whole time-zones away. She is hard working, unafraid to be vulnerable and share her truth, and simply NOT one to back down. I've seen Marie at work when she shares with us, when she teaches us, and most of all, when she's out there, fighting for women and girls. I cherish the bond I've built with her, and knowing her in this short time has only powerfully affirmed the truth that SHE IS WORLD PULSE <3
