Nominating Paulina Lawsin

There should be a dictionary entry for Paulina Lawsin. And it must read: "Paulina Lawsin is a term used to describe a woman for whom nothing is impossible."

That would still be saying VERY little - and that's the problem with words, how do you contain women within such limited terms? :-) Paulina and I bonded over this past year, as ambassadors, as sisters, and as women walking similar, if not the same, paths. To know Paulina is to know Energy. I've seen her cope with some of the most chaotic times that it's almost impossible to imagine how she did it all, even. Between serving on the frontlines and supporting her community cope with COVID-19 and supporting her own family during difficult challenges - ALL THE WHILE REMAINING WITH HER SISTERS IN FULL - Paulina may wear many hats, but her crown ALWAYS shines through. It is hard to truly find the words to show my appreciation for Paulina, but I will try, and borrow Maya Angelou's words for this:

"

Now you understand

Just why my head’s not bowed.

I don’t shout or jump about

Or have to talk real loud.

When you see me passing,

It ought to make you proud.

I say,

It’s in the click of my heels,

The bend of my hair,

the palm of my hand,

The need for my care.

’Cause I’m a woman

Phenomenally.

Phenomenal woman,

That’s me."

That's YOU, Paulina, you Phenomenal Woman.
