Divide and rule

Covid-19 has given a free home stay to the world. But for housewives, its been the same as before. In my family, we don't have any maids to help.My mother was doing every house hold chores alone.and the other member kept complaining about this or that. Then we chose to divide our household duties and now we are living happily everafter.

Actually, you cannot feel the same pain untill you are in it.The housewives keep working everyday without complaining. Maximum time they don't get any appreciation. So, my mother divided and ruling in the house(In a good sense).

Dear Kona,
Thank you for speaking out. In fact your household is not alone. Millions of household do not have or cannot afford maid help. In my country I personally very often have help form my family daughters related and non-related. In fact it's best we together share in the domestic help and not put the pressure on anyone paid or unpaid before, during and after Covid -19.
Together we should consider change to cultural norms that maybe unkind to our dear beloved mothers, grandmothers , elders, etc. It's better we work together, all pitch in to relieve the burden which in reality is dangerous to one's health and mentally.
Working and uniting together bring a happy productive family in strength, unity and love.
sincerely,

Mama Queen

Thank you for sharing Sister.

Hello, Kona

Welcome to World Pulse! What a joy to know a new voice from India is rising up.

You observe it well, dear. Nothing changed for housewives, stay-at-home moms, and work-at-home moms. I belong in that group. You are right. It is exhausting. But I'm glad that my husband does his share of household chores. I hit the jackpot of marrying a diligent man who help around the house. We divide our exhaustion at the end of the day.

Please write more! We love to know more about you, what you do, and what you deeply care about.

Welcome again to our growing sisterhood!

How wonderful that you have divided house work up. Yes, this pandemic is disproportionately affecting women, both housewives and working women, especially if they are mothers.
