Physical distancing is leading parents to make the difficult decision to defer routine immunization with government directive to stay at home and mandatory when you enter any health facility you must have mask thus expectant mother's not attending ANC they cannot afford mask.Curfew or lockdown many women are not safe there is stock out of Family planning commodities. Police and forest wardens are using brutal attack to innocent people last week they shot an innocent victim who had heard gunshots when going outside to see what was happening he was shot.

Cases of defilement , incest and GBV are on the increase involving close relations.

At the moment we are having remote meetings .

It is really shocking to hear that innocent people would be shot. Stay at home and keep safe!
May Almighty God bless you all!

Hi Kristine,

Thanks for sharing your sad update. Is there any light at the end of the tunnel? Are the cases on the decline and restrictions letting up yet?

Dear Kristine,
How are you doing? I am sorry to hear about the violence meeted out on people in your community. The situation too for pregnant women attending ANC is terrible everywhere. We pray this pandemic ends soonest. Remote meetings are the only way to get connected now. Stay safe.
