A very beautiful site with volunteers sewing for girls. How lovely it is to be of service with other women for the greater good of womankind.

Good News! Good News!

A few months ago,I posted a need on the resource page here on World Pulse and got so many responses from around the world. But one that was so amazing was the one from Jill Miller who is the New York Chapter director for Days for Girls International.

We connected offline in New York city and ever since have been working together to set up an enterprise in Cameroon where rural women will be trained to make reusable sanitary napkins for girls.More on this is loading.

I have also been going to downtown New York on every first Monday of the month to learn how the pads are made. It's been an amazing journey as it has opened my mind to so many new things regarding menstrual hygiene as well.

Recently,I received the most juicy news from Jill.

DfGs New York has pledged to donate 200 DfGs kits for me to take along to my girls in Cameroon. This is simply gold and I echo tons of gratitude to New York Chapter Director Jill Miller for thinking very highly of the girls in Cameroon.Where all my World Pulse family and Facebook community, please echo a thunderous hand clap and a standing ovation to Jill for me oooo.

Thanks a billion Jill. This means the world.
