Introducing Moyo Jasiri and welcoming you for our first event in Nairobi

Moyo Jasiri is a new global not-for-profit social enterprise bringing business education and training to women; connecting women entrepreneurs to capital; and increasing access to new markets for women-owned businesses.
Moyo Jasiri is headquartered in Portland, Oregon and has a satellite office in Nairobi, Kenya.

Since Janaury, our founder and CEO, Jennifer Ruwart (who also created World Pulse's Voices Of the Future) has been running very successful business networking sessions, called Salons, for women entrepreneurs in Portland. In fact, the salons, which are being led by seasoned business anthropologist Marsha Shenk, have been so successful that they recently evolved into a 12-month program solely focused on transforming the participants' businesses from surviving to thriving.
Moyo Jasiri is replicating this successful model in Nairobi. Our goal is to create a safe space for women entrepreneurs to share ideas, knowledge and experiences, network and even meet new or potential clients. Each month there will be an subject matter expert to facilitate the session.
Whether you are a starting entrepreneur, a seasoned one, an aspiring or just want to learn more about entrepreneurship, you're welcome to join us on Saturday, May 28th 2011 from 12.30 - 2.30 PM. Please visit this link for more details http://moyojasirikenya.eventbrite.com/ and also RSVP me at edna@moyojasiri.com or directly on my World Pulse account for further details. Share this with your friends and anyone who might be interested but isn't in this forum.
I look forward to having you support this course as we empower women through entrepreneurship and networking.
Thank you all na Karibu Sana!
Edna
