Introducing myself and my journal: Stop Passion Killing

About Me:
I am a 25 year old woman from Namibia. I am a highly motivated person and would like to see positive change in communities. Some of the identified community challenges especially from Namibia is lack of motivation, information and involvement. Currently one of a life threatening challenge in Namibia is "passion killing" amongst lovers, partners, fiancee's even married couples. Its really a big challenge, its gruesome. We have organised ourselves in a small group that is currently looking deep into this and looking for expertise in almost every area of life. We have conducted politicians, government and people from private industries and are currently setting up structures as to how we should approach this as a " group willing to make a difference and as an affected community". Our dream is to go big to reach out to people in need through radio, TV, we go live at schools and in communities to give people hope for living, hope to continue a lively life after being left by the one who claimed to love. We aim to make people understand a meaningful life because as a communities, as a nation and only in this year 2012 have lost too many young lives due to this, we have lost future leaders and potential economic emancipators that I feel we cannot afford to lose life's this way again.
