The traumatised young girl

On the international menstrual hygiene day this year 2019,HAACAM brought together over 300 internally displaced girls at the lavena center in Bamenda.

Victims of rape, psychological trauma, and more. Telling theirexperiences I n the bushes was a moment my team and I will not forget in a hurry.

Thank God we we're able to reach out to 100 of these girls. Recently doing one on one follow up for these girls.

The one awful story, I will share soon. Stay posted.

PS. Women and girls in bamenda are suffering due to the crisis we are facing. If there is anything you can do,  don't hesitate to contact us. Thanks.  re

Hi Sylvie,

How are you doing, dear? Thanks for sharing your lovely photo, and update, too! It's great to hear that you were able to help that many girls. Hopefully next time you will have more resources, and freedom, to do more. And, hopefully, next time everyone will be free, too:-(

Hope you're doing well, and that you and your family are safe, dear.

You are welcome.

Hello, Sylvie,

You and your team are so strong to cater a hundred wounded, displaced girls and to listen to their stories. Thank you for doing that. May you find more people to help you as you support these girls. They truly need people like you and your team.

Thank you for sharing!
