Why I joined this group

My name is Leonida Odongo , I come from Kenya.I work on social justice issues specifically on social justice education.My work entails working with peasant farmers on food justice and with communities affected by climate change on a climate justice project.

Being part of this team will help strengthen my skills, resilience and knowledge.It would be great to learn how sisters the world over are organizing to address various social justice struggles.Its also a great opportunity to learn how fellow sisters are taking up leadership , the challenges they face and how they overcome these triumphs.

Coming from a highly patriarchal community if not country, being in this space will help gain skills in how to turn the leadership imbalance and give more opportunities to women and girls to lead.
