My Journey

I come from Kampala in Uganda. I am married and have three children. The challenge I face at individual level that applies to my community and especially women is the inability to access good quality reproductive health information and services with dignity and respect. Women in my community compromise their health for the fear of being judged, because of stigma and fear associated with certain issues such as use of condoms. Women in my community do not have the confidence and capacity to openly demand for sex and reproductive health information and services. I have started an online social enterprise of retailing condoms at www.clickacondom.org and I use social media face book, twitter and Instagram to communicate positive health messages to the public, these can be accessed at my website quoted here above. I operate a call centre that allows me to provide confidential advice on condom use and related issues. I would like to make this information accessible to as many women as possible in all. I got a bank loan to fund this initiative but still need more training in digital campaigns and resources. I am passionate about the plight of women and children.
