STORIES THAT TRANSFORMS

This was how we celebrated the international women's day with girls at my home. It was a time of interaction and stories from life experience that was soul lifting.

One of the girls sheared her challenge being a girl and in school, the sexual harassment from lecturers and threat to fail her in school if she refuses or to be withdrawn from school.

Another sheared how she almost went into prostitution because she had no support while in school. We spent time encouraging each other and proffering solutions.

We had a married Lady who is an advocate of VALUE ADDING TO ONES SELF BEFORE MARRIAGE. She spoke on the importance for a woman to add value to her self so that she is not looked down on by anyone and is able to contribute to her life and community. She encouraged the girls to be focused and to take their future in their hand and not allow anything or anyone take it from them.

I introduced world pulse to the girls as a platform where they can belong,a family if sisters for sisters who are always ready to hear and listen and encourage each other without judging.

It was an exciting moment for us all and hopeful they will be joining us and get the impact we all have found. We hope to do more with this girls we now have a WhatsApp page and we hope to meet again for more interaction.

Am excited about it and hoping that this girls will find strength her to go on in life and find also the fulfillment they desire.
