Am a girl and it’s part of the challenge I face everyday “THAT AM A GIRL”

Am disregarded, disrespected, ignored, under appreciated, misused, misunderstood, over labored,neglected, The list is countless and yet am expected to perform above all of these vises. 
I struggle to keep up,make up,rise up, speak up so I can be see,noticed and heard, but to no success.

How can it be that am celebrated each year and yet am not the focus and icon of the celebration? Am only being used as a means to an end, “My challenge “
This year I need my place let it be me,about me,for me and me on this day 11/10/2020.

Forget the policies,the strategies, the fight, the struggle and just LISTEN!!! Hear me,know me,see me and talk with me. Let me know you have taken note of me and my plight. Don’t assume.
