You are enough

You are beautiful, you are strong, you are smart, you are an achiever & are worthy.... It starts from there.

Women are bitten down from all fronts as they try to overcome their daily challenges. However, one thing seems to constantly weigh us down; self confidence. From our school mates, work colleagues (both male & female), biggest culprits being  boyfriends and husband's. We find ourselves trying hard to fit in, to feel appreciated, to change something about our anatomies to feel loved( plastic surgeries, change how we dress, our personalities etc). All in the name of fitting in or he will love me more.

The insecurities slowly get roots and self-confidence goes down the drain. I'm I good enough? am I worthy?, am I deserving?, etc most of us continue quietly struggling with these questions. Our husbands/boyfriends, social media have gotten us second guessing ourselves on the daily & we being the gracious women, do anything to feel loved. He cheats & the woman thinks she is to blame, he hits her & she is convinced she did something wrong to deserve it, he mistreats her & she stays in the marriage believing she isn't worthy of love.

I call upon all women to remind a sister,a daughter, a friend, a mother that she is beautiful, she is strong, she is smart she is an achiever, deserving & worthy each chance we get because we don't hear those words often enough & sometimes we hear but forget because of all the bad energy surrounding us.

I call upon all mother's to love their daughters & let them find a safe haven in them. Instil in these little flowers of their importance & worthiness as they grow so that it's part of them.

My sisters, you are beautiful, you are strong, you are smart, you are an achiever & every bit worthy of everything good in life. When a man hits you, cheats on you or tells you that you don't look good enough, it has got nothing to do with you but every bit about him & his insecurities. YOU ARE ENOUGH AS YOU ARE.

I call upon all women to support one another in our various platforms. Let us not be the reason why a fellow woman draws her tears or breaks down in despair.
