Evicted from shelter and livelihood without a voice: Dignity for slum dwellers now!!!



Human Rights and poverty have always been dissociated from each other as though they were not interelated. However, the recent incedence of forced evictions for slum dwellers, increased maternal deaths and, livelessness for people living near industrial plants like Shell in Niger Delta Nigeria and Bhopal in India, the causal effect of one on the other has become more visible. A growing community of people with passion for these phenomena are demanding dignity for the victims.
