From Nigeria to Afghanistan

How the Taliban rule will affect women and girls
A cry of help from young women and girls in Afghanistan

Hey girl!

I see you; the world sees you too. Never dare give up on your dreams now; you can still become that pilot, scientist, lawyer, minister, Doctor, Diplomat.. never give up your dreams.

Though it might seem that your path is dark, your spirit low, your wings are broken, your future quietly fading into thin air.

You can still shatter that ceiling as long as it is still hanging up.

Do not worry, do not fret, though it might seem your freedom is taken away. Never worry about your pretty head, though you go to bed with a heavy heart at night.

Never you worry, sister, though it seems the sun will never rise and the dome has come to stay.

Never take this word for granted "there is light at the end of the tunnel."

May you find that tunnel leading to your light soon.

May your heart be gladen like a woman who just brought forth her child.

May your bosom be filled with milk, for the world will drink and be filled.

I stand with you, my sister and my friend.
