Dear Lydia

Dear Lydia,

On this day of the girl child, I have kind words only to tell you.

You are beautiful and strong. Never for once doubt that. You are smart, intelligent and powerful- Never allow imposter syndrome to get to you.

I have watched how you have grown to be this fearless woman you have turned out to be. I remember when you second guess yourself all the time, the times you feel you are not good enough because you haven't found your path yet.

I'm proud of you Lydia, you have done so much for yourself. Always remember to pat yourself on the back. Celebrate your small wins they are the real success, hun! Remember that people are out there rooting for you.

Please do not beat yourself over mistakes, and they are bound to happen. Learn from it and move on.

Learn to keep relationships. They are the fundamentals to having a purposeful life and enjoy every moment.

Learn to stay focused, dear, be very flexible and enjoy what you do. Never let that light dim, hun, because you are that light that shines so bright.

Never be scared to love. I know that is your greatest fear, but love, love and love.

Never for once doubt this path you have chosen, I see you in that room. Time will make everything clearer.

Take risk Lydia, do that thing you have always wanted to and be happy.

Learn to say no to people, you mustn't please everyone.

Take care of yourself, Lydia, your mental health is essential.

I leave you with these words, dear,

You are made to take over the world

I love you so much and tell that person you love them too.
