My Source of Hope

The Sun challenges us to shine, the Cloud remind us to move, the Birds tell us we too can fly and the Sky tells us there is no limit to our dreams and goals. That is HOPE.
Early every morning when I wake up,  I look through the windows,  seeing the plants opening their leaves with flowers  of beautiful colors,  the trees shading down their old leaves to give way to the young ones to enjoy sunlight,  the birds chanting sweet melodies,   in all these I build my Hope  knowing good days will come again.
When I think of those days when we used to see a new day happily and stroll around freely like citizens of their own country, I still have hopes. Today the Cameroonians in the NW and SW region, though being born free, they are in chains, we are slaves in our own Fatherland, we can't enjoy the right to freedom anymore.  We eat and drink what is available and not what we want. We hear our neighbors being kidnapped,  loves ones being kidnap in our presence day and night  but we can't say a word nether do we know who to call for help at a gun point.
Young people are murdered every day and night rendering some fellow mothers motherless, children fatherless, and wives windows. What baffled me is, the youth are the ones dying the most while the old washed them being murdered in cold blood for political gains.
Ohhhh Cameroon , I remember in my days of primary schools we used to sing a song " they is war in some countries but we enjoy peace in Cameroon" I believe other countries sing Cameroon today due to the ongoing crises in the SW & NW region.
My greatest Hope is that our cries will one day be heard and peace will return.
I believe that one day we will be totally liberated and our tomorrow will be fine.
I am so happy today because;
I learn about Hope from the voices on world pulse.
I have Hope from sisters bearing one another burden on world pulse
I found Hope in reading sisters stories on world pulse.
I build Hope on the voices on World pulse.
