Promised To Be An Active Participation

My personal vision is to participate in politic as female potential leader. I tend to work with youths, women disable people and indigenous people who are lack of knowledge in politics and human rights, and not interested in politics and social work. I will encourage them to involve and contribute in politics and society. I will not let them hide themselves from society and the world anymore. On the other hand, I want to eliminate raping on girls and elder people. I used to promise in front of people that if I am a parliamentarian or person who in charge in making laws in the future, I will take strong punishment on men who are rapist on girls who age from 1month to 12 years old and on elder people who ages 70 years old upward. It’s really sorrowful for them to face such kind of dirty action. The girls in that age, they are like a white paper, they do not know anything about that even men do cruel action on them. The painfulness will get along with them in whole life. That’s why I will not forgive the wrongdoing person. And, I also have my short term vision, I dream to be a journalist. I want to be a news reporter on radio as well as international news channel to explore the women issue in Cambodia to world.

I do want to be a Voice of Correspondent because it’s the only way to bring my voice to world and to upgrade myself to be a potential woman. I have less experience with promoting women in social work. If have opportunity to be considered in Voice of Correspondent, I will have more knowledge with promoting women to be part of decision making, I will write National Assembly report pushing female parliamentarian to understand their right and must conduct their power in expressing their concern in draft laws and work with women in grassroots level. So, If I will be consider in this training, I can share the challenging and obstacles of women around the world to Cambodian women to take as their life experience living in society, and this training will gain me more knowledge and experience which will beneficial to my background as I want to be female potential leader in the future. I have been along with peacekeeping, leadership skill, politics and volunteering with phonic children, but I have less experience with women’s rights, the way to promote women and protect women rights, how to promote women to access equally with men in society. As a parliamentarian observer and activist youth, I do want to be trained how to advocate women to involve actively in Politics and social works especially, I want to promote more youths who are the women to prepare to be the future leaders and have more quota in government sector.

Voice of Correspondent will help me by building my capacity to learn from other women’s experience, bringing my voice and concern to the world, making me more confident to achieve my dream, giving me a mentor who is really important in part of my life who will be my personal adviser performing as my catalyst, listener, witness, and nurturer to train me and encourage me to be a professional writer and speaker and a person who has well understanding about women and global issues. As women, I am so proud and delighted to be empowered, concentrated, encouraged and nurtured to be a real value woman for society that sometimes women including me are not promoted and discourage to have voice in decision making, and to recognize my effective work equally to men. To be a politician or leader, I do want to have skills on how to have fruitful and concise speech and build peace in mind in order to face with any problems. Being a Voice of Correspondent, I will be empowered to form a group from different diversity and group of women from Cambodia to work with women in any kind of issue and I will spread the reports on Cambodian women issues to the world. That’s the strong model to convert women’s power in the country and the world. And, I also can learn any challenges and barriers from other correspondents the leadership/ management in works, family, community and myself. Through Voice of Correspondent, women have chance to straighten networking with women around the world.
