Introducing myself and my journal

About Me:
My beliefs

Since retirement at age 60 I have become an online activist for women's rights and I promote women's issues wherever I can.

As an atheist humanist I deplore the fact that man-made religious belief systems are utilised as some sort of "reason" to make people believe we are different from each other.

We are all HUMAN. We are capable of LOVE and COMPASSION and EMPATHY, all of which are spiritual traits.

To me there is nothing Spiritual about Man-made Religion. It is couched in dogma, repeated parrot-fashion in churches, mosques, synagogues and temples by people who have learned it in their childhood and perpetuate the rituals assigned to it with no real thought about what they are saying and to whom.

Most people do not really think for themselves. They are a product of their parents, family, community, culture, education system, society system, peer pressure, and "what the neighbours think" systems.

We are all products of the above. It takes a lot of courage to rebel against the above, to grow up, to take responsibility for our own lives, to become self-empowered, which means thinking for our real selves.

I challenge you to ask "Who am I really? What do I really believe? What is actually REAL FOR ME?"

In many countries women are not actually Human. Women are regarded as tradeable goods, equal to cows or dollars. Who trades these "goods"? - MEN

Why are we women allowing this state of affairs to persist?
