I am a Sarpanch - which means an elected village chief. But I am also a social activist with who is passionate about women's rights and equal place for women in the society. I combine my passion with the power that people of my community gave me by electing me to their chief's office and try to bring positive social change in the Bhandara district of Maharashtra in India.
Currently I am a fellow of the Collective Impact Partnership (CIP) leadership program.
