Mental Health & Covid 19: Dealing with Challenges

One of the timely webinars we conducted was the discussion about Mental Health. According to World Health Organization Mental Health is a state of well-being in which an individual realizes his or her own abilities, can cope with the normal stresses of life, can work productively and is able to make a contribution to his or her community. In this positive sense mental health is the foundation for individual well-being and the effective functioning of a community.

Self Care during a crisis is to focus on what you can control. Establish a work routine at home for order and meaningfulness of your day. Do things that bring joy and comfort. Stay healthy, eat right, sleep well do exercise, and strengthen your immune system. Discern what is the face from true news, limit your covid-19 information intake and stay connected with loved ones through phone or online, show some emotional support.
