Connect. Empower. Influence.

One of my friends has just fulfilled her dream to build her foundation on empowering indigenous people and hope to raise world changers. She has impacted Indigenous peoples, particularly women. The name of her foundation is Hagiyo.

Through her stories and dreams, I got inspired and joined World Pulse to contribute and make a difference by touching the lives of an individual thru a change of mind and an enlightened heart.

I find confidence in writing stories about my experience and how I can be an inspiration to others without fear of being judged.

This altruistic role as an Encourager broadens my horizon as I read stories from women who are a catalyst of change. Each life stories has its authenticity that perceives to be self-values.

I am very thankful of my fellow sisters in World Pulse who were keeping in touch with me either thru Fb messenger or through World Pulse private message. They are there to inspire and keep me active as an Encourager.

I believe that we have a choice to get the most out of our life.  I never stop looking for opportunities to lift people to their potential. I never underestimate the power of an encouraging word. There is an old saying: To lead yourself, use your head; to lead others, use your heart. I take to initiate to connect with people and make the effort to continue building relationships by encouraging an individual to involved in voluntary work.

Let me share to you the involvement I’ve made in initiating to connect and build a relationship with different people in my community from the past years.

Last December 2016, our lifegroup went out to families who are living in the street and six families received a Christmas gift.

Last May 2017, we raise funds to support Two More Kids on financial needs for their surgery. We invite joiners for a Hiking for a Cause that brings awareness on giving hope for children who are suffering from a brain tumor. We raised funds and give it to the foundation. I joined several volunteer works at He Cares Mission and Project Pearl.

Last May 2019, we spread “Kabutehan” (goodness) through the support of friends and family. At least twenty (20) less fortunate students received school supplies who aspire to graduate and be part of a solution and not a problem.

I was able to meet personally one of the World Pulse sisters Yllang Montenegro and connect with sisters online in the Philippines through Fb messenger.

Now, I have leveled up my engagement with World Pulse to be an Ambassador. I hope to connect with “Millennial Women” to be a leader of change through their powerful stories that bring inspiration, values and individual identity.

I Connect with a heart.  I live a life of empowerment. I Influence to accomplished.

Hello Dear Mae Ann,

Congrats again on your recent Ambassadorship, dear!!

Thanks for sharing your most recent, impressive goodwill activities... I'm not sure whether they were all voluntary:-)

You do make a difference on World Pulse, too, and now you will make even more of a difference in your new role. I had forgotten that you had met Yllang. What about collaborating with her on something? Anyway, I'm sure you'll think of ways to promote and engage more people about World Pulse, and to make a difference in more lives, for that matter, be it through our forum or otherwise. You're a smart and resourceful woman:-)

Is your friend that starting "Hagiyo" on World Pulse? Her mission sounds great. Are you helping her out, too?

Hope you have a great weekend, dear!

Hello, Mae Ann,

Congratulations again for being part of the World Pulse Ambassadors! Thank you for sharing about Hagiyo. The Indigenous Peoples are close to my heart. I’ve work with a few tribes in Mindanao.

May I know where is Hagiyo located in the Philippines?

I’m not active on Facebook and Messenger for quite a while now since I use much of my free time on World Pulse.

Hoping to collaborate with you! Yay! Woot woot!
