A comment and a commitment get me out of my house after two days

Mental Health is described as a state of wellbeing...holistic one...and I haven't been in such a state for a while...this month of August (I thought it should be over by today but nope not yet zut) has been a very challenging and rollercoaster one for me.

And so I have been struggling yet striving one day at a time...but last Friday I could only push myself to workout and then slug around the house...It all began with some disrespect from a Man (potential date which of course never happened again), and then the next day (Saturday) two baby sisters shared with me how they had been body shamed by some other guys. I did a post about that and then got into my PJs and back to bed.

It was Elizabeth Rooney's comment on that post which I saw this morning that gave the zeal to get up, cook some food and then commit to go out of the house today. I asked my wounded inner child what she wanted as comfort food and she said Pringles wow (it's been so long I had any, that Ayo girl keeps track hahahaha).

That was how I did as planned and deliberately wore the a t-shirt by Nakinti's organization RESCUE WOMEN, on the POWER OF OUR VOICES, and I went to get them pringles.

Since I equally wanted to SELFISHLY eat all of it alone (or as much as I wanted before seeing my son), I stopped by my office which is fortunately before my house and whose keys I had picked up just in case...am actually writing this from there while munching them pringles...

I feel so much better and will clean up the office some because I have done that in two weeks zut.

I really appreciate Liz's comment and the Anthem I AM WOMAN she recommended therein...I hope my sharing so unfiltered also inspires motivates and encourages someone...
