Do you believe in affirmations?
Do you know what you tell yourself matters a lot?
That what you let others tell you can lift you up or drag you down if you give it that power?
That you are tough and tough people out live those tough times?
That because your mental health is very important, you have to have tools in place for when the going is not so good?
I have had one struggle to the other for 3 or so weeks with intervals, and today I felt so bad when a social media troll used disrespectful language when writing to me in my dm. I quickly fired back by posting the screenshot on facebook and asking anyone who knew him to tell him he can't scare or stand me hahahahaha.
So dear sister, remind yourself of this as often as you need to. Work on your inner strength and your support circle...then show up and do what you have to do to get over and above that Struggle including dressing to feel good and dancing your annoyance out like I did today hurray.
Hello Marie,
I'm sorry to hear about your struggles as of late. I hope your situation improves. I do believe in affirmations, to answer your first question, but not when it becomes a chore. I recently left a whole bunch of them behind as it was feeling heavy and not enlightening at all. I've kept some, but I have to keep reminding myself that they have to uplift and the daily self care routines shouldn't feel heavy or like work, but that they should feel good and uplifting.
Take it easy over there:-)
Dear Jill,
Thank you. I don't have plenty affirmations and emmmm when I can't even say them until I cry a particular situation out, I do just that. Oh, struggles are always snuggling around but I just know I can push and pull my way through them. Taking time off for me too is part of the strategy. Thank you once again and all the best too
Hello there, again,

Thanks. You, too.
