Has anyone heard of NAKINTI ? Ha only her that her first name sounds goddess. When I first read one of her wonderfully woven stories on World Pulse about 'when offline meets online', I felt that was a kindred sister to contact sharp sharp. I sent her a private message here and she replied as soon as... and same day we spoke for over an hour...
Then I read about her rape story on Facebook and I knew I would one day sit down with her because I have a few sexual abuse and rape story too.
In January, she invited me to the first ever organized Survivors Voices against Rape workshop her organization Rescue Women hosted. Ah the healing circles and the personal healing, simply speechless.
Today, I hosted her on my own organization's platform for an Impact talk, the first of many am looking at.
